Westown Farmers’ Market is downtown’s destination for lunch on Wednesdays. The Farmers’ Market runs Wednesdays in the summer from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Zeidler Park. It features more than 50 local vendors selling produce, prepared food and handcrafted art, as well as live music and special entertainment. The 2017 Westown Farmers’ Market kicks off Wednesday, June 7th and runs through October 25th!
River Rhythms is Milwaukee’s destination for music on Wednesday evenings. Concerts are Wednesdays in the summer from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Pere Marquette Park and are free to the public. River Rhythms features musicians with unique styles and sounds, from reggae to rock, blues to alternative, country and more.
Downtown Milwaukee’s St. Patrick’s Day is produced in collaboration with the Shamrock Club of Wisconsin. One of the oldest parades in the country, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade features performers, local dignitaries, floats, bands and Milwaukee Irish and Celtic organizations. With a week’s build-up of Irish festivities, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade is a vibrant community celebration. Save the Date for the 2017 parade on Saturday March 10, 2017 for the 51st Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
