Westown Farmers’ Market is downtown Milwaukee’s largest and oldest open-air market. The Farmers’ Market runs Wednesdays in the summer from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Zeidler Park. It features more than 60 local vendors selling produce, prepared food and handcrafted art, as well as live music and special entertainment. The 2014 Westown Farmers’ Market kicks off Wednesday, June 4!
River Rhythms is one of Milwaukee’s most diverse and fastest growing music festivals. Concerts are Wednesdays in the summer from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Pere Marquette Park and are free to the public. Downtown Milwaukee’s St. Patrick’s Day is produced in collaboration with the Shamrock Club of Wisconsin. One of the oldest parades in the country, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade features performers, local dignitaries, floats, bands and Milwaukee Irish and Celtic organizations. With a week’s build-up of Irish festivities, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade is a vibrant community celebration.
