NOTICE: Highland Ave Closure
Heads up, Westowners - there are planned street closures for the Grunau Plaza construction project. The closures are needed as the project general contractor, Selzer-Ornst Construction Company, begins mobilizing equipment and materials for the project.
Closure Details:
Start Date/Time: Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at 6:00 AM
Location: Highland Avenue east of MLK to the Milwaukee River, the Riverwalk north of Highland and the Highland Pedestrian Bridge
Additional Information:
Construction materials may be delivered to the site on Monday, January 26
Please see the attached diagram illustrating the initial closure plan
We will provide updates as the project progresses and if closure plans change
We understand this closure may create inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience. Please plan alternate routes during this period and notify your customers and tenants of this closure.
